Will's First BOO BOO...

It's been a while, we have been so busy lately there is no time to post!
A lot has been going on. Easter was a blast! We had a great time (pics to come soon) and we also took our first trip to the Lehigh Valley Zoo, AKA Trexler Game Preserve (also pics to come soon), but we had to show this picture of Will's first Boo Boo. We were playing on the front porch with Mommy and Daddy and Will dropped his ball off the step, he bent down to pick it up and, BOOM!!!, off the porch he went!

But have no fear, its all scabbed over already and practically gone.

Till next time...

Good Day!!!

Thursday was a good day!!!

Mommy and Daddy both had off from work so we started the day with pancakes and then a nice long walk with Daddy.
There were a bunch of fire trucks parked at the YMCA along our walk route so Daddy took us in for a closer look. Our Great Grandfather Bill was a Bethlehem fire fighter so it was neat to see the trucks up close. Robbie really liked the fire trucks, so much that he kicked off his shoe so Daddy would have to come back to get it and Robbie could see the trucks again. Daddy was only 2 blocks away when he noticed the missing shoe. Its okay, he needs the exercise.

Later after lunch we went to visit our Great Grammy LeVan at Country Meadows. We loving running down the hallways and listening to Mommy and Daddy tell all the old people that:
"Yes, they are twins"
"Yes, they are both boys"
"They are 14 months old"
"They are 14 months old"
"They are 14 months old"
We love our Great Grammy LeVan and can't wait to go visit her again!

After a quick stop at Babies-R-Us to stock up on diapers, we spent the rest of the day outside playing with our buddies Dylan and Bailey.
We took one last walk downtown because Daddy got a new camera and wanted to try it out. We stopped and got ice cream and Will was flirting big time with some cute brunette, but she was like 20 years old, so Will never asked for her number.
Thursday was a good day...
Easter is in days and we are so excited for the Easter Bunny to come!!!. Check back for Pics from Easter day soon!!!

Love always,
Will & Robbie

It was a Rough week!!!

The whole drama started last week when Robbie went to the doctor to see about some possible digestive issues that he has been having. This led to giving Mommy and Daddy the opportunity to gather stool samples...OH JOY!!!
While at the doctor, it was also discovered that Robbie had a "raging" ear infection in his right ear. Mommy and Daddy had no idea since Robbie does not grab at his ear or show any signs that his ears are bothering him. This would make ear infection #4 for Robbie since October, so once again its back to antibiotics which turn Robbie's poo into a substance that resembles used motor oil and usually leaks through the diaper and onto his clothes which means Robbie takes a few baths a day.
Two days later, Robbie develops a fever and nothing really is helping so Mommy takes Robbie back to the doctor where his fever reaches 104.5, Yikes!
The doctor makes Robbie stay in his office until his fever starts to drop and then sends him to St. Luke's for blood work.
After two horrible attempts to get blood out of each of Robbie's arms the nurses suggest to try pricking his finger to get the samples they need. By this point Robbie is hysterical and Mommy says "Enough!"
Oh but this day is not yet over...
A few hours later it is off the the ear, nose, throat Specialist.
The ENT looks at Robbie who is terrified of the stupid mirror on the doctors head (just like the doc on "Little House on the Prairie", seriously are we still living in the 1800's?)
So the visit ends with an "Urgent" surgery scheduled to put tubes in Robbie's ears.
The original appointment was at 12 noon last Monday but Mommy and Daddy thought that was way to long for Robbie to go with out food since the last time he would be able to eat would be 11pm on Sunday. So the surgery was moved to 8 am Monday instead.
Meanwhile Will is the most patient and cooperative baby ever. He has been so good for the whole ordeal, such a good brother.
Flash forward to 6:30 am Monday morning, A groggy Robbie enters the hospital. We put him in a peach hospital gown and Robbie begins to make his rounds of the children's ward since sitting still in our room was just not an option for him.
7:45 they take us down to the prep room and we wait...
7:55 the anaesthesiologist meets with us and we continue to wait for the ENT...
8:00 other patients are wheeled off to their surgeries, but we wait...
8:05 still waiting...
8:10 still waiting...
8:15 a nurse tells us the ENT is with an emergency and will be here soon, so we wait...
8:20 the ENT arrives and begins to tell everyone about his emergency case...no one cares...
8:25 a screaming Robbie is plucked from Mommies arms and whisked off.
About 30 minutes later, surgery over, successfully, daddy goes to the recovery room to find a half awake/ screaming / Pissed off Robbie. He calms down a little. The nurse hands Daddy stickers to give him, like he has any concept what stickers are, but Daddy rolls his eyes and says thanks.
Eventually we end up in our room and Robbie is relieved to find Mommy waiting. He fights tooth and nail with every nurse that wants to check his vitals, most just give up and leave the room.
We are released and Robbie finally is sleeping on Mommy, and we head off to Grammy and Pop-pops to pick up Will.
By that afternoon Robbie is as happy as ever and seems like a whole new kid so in the end if worked out for the better with a very happy ending!
Although Mommy and Daddy still need to get those stool samples...

Love,
Will & Robbie
